The character count tool counts characters: each letter, number and space is counted as one character. It also counts the number of words. This tool can be used for writing texts that only allow a maximum amount of characters/words. It can also be used for optimizing meta tags (title and meta description). In the old days, the title couldn’t be longer than 60 characters and the meta description was limited to around 150 characters. In 2014 this changed, now the length of the title shouldn’t be longer than 512 pixels. The meta description has a maximum length of 920 pixels. The character count tool also gives an indication of how many pixels are used.
Count the characters, words and the length of the text in pixels. The “how many times” function counts how many times a word is visible in the text. Please be aware that it also counts a part of words and that it is case sensitive!
